A basic course in the handling of hammer and chisel.

We will cover how to sharpen the chisel.

We will work on slate and limestone.

This course is designed for beginners although more advanced students who have a project in mind are also welcome to attend.

We will aim to design a subject for our carving and hopefully have enough time to make a good start on the carving of the design
